How do I QUIT SMOKING?

Hi, I'm 24 and I've been smoking for over 4 years and it's killing my health, wallet, and life. I've tried several times to quit recently and it hasn't worked so far. I've bought Allan Carrs Quit Smoking Book and it hasn't really worked. I've bought the nicotine gum and no success.

I've tried cold turkey no success. I think my best bet is COLD TURKEY. When I get stressed out I have a smoke and it solves nothing, however it does relax me a bit.

What else can I do to help myself quit asap? What have you guys tried?

I quit abt 10 days ago... I am using those patch thingy's, they seem to b working really well but like th others said u need to really want to quit. I dnt get cravings or anything with th patches, I even survived a wkend of drinking without even wanting a cigarette so I reckon u should definately give th patches a go... what else have u got to lose?
