According to a federal judge, electronic cigarettes can no longer be classified as a drug delivery device. The judge said they are simply an alternative to tobacco and the companies manufacturing them are not making any health claims.

Those who support tobacco-control said that this ruling will open the flood gates to a large range of new nicotine-laced products that have been controlled by the FDA.

E-cigarettes have be growing in popularity at an alarming rate in the U.S. and around the world. E-cigarettes is a new technology which has sparked questions over the possible role of e-cigarettes as a smoking-cessation tool, though the World Health Organization has said it does not consider it to be a legitimate therapy.

For the most part, e-cigarettes are created to give a smoker a healthier option. It is a fact that it is more advantageous as compared with other smoking alternatives. Nicotine-free cigarettes have 0.05 milligrams of nicotine per cigarette, while low-nicotine cigarettes each have 0.3 milligrams. For comparison, light cigarettes have between 0.7 and 1.0 milligrams of nicotine.

The amount of air pollution put out by traditional cigarettes is mind blowing in comparison to the amount that an electronic cigarette puts out, since e-cigarettes are not lit and produce no smoke when not being used. Secondhand smoke is almost a non-issue.

Which e-cig is your favorite? No affiliates please?

I am currently using a smoke51 electronic cigarette and am looking to try another brand. I am curious to know peoples favorites and why. I am looking for a long battery life, great vapor and hard throat hit. Price is of no concern to me.

yeah, Smoke 51 has a lot of negative reviews ... I personally think that SmokeTip and eSmoke are great. My friend has a Cirrus II and loves it. But Cirrus is like 3 times more that SmokeTip. eSmoke is somewhere in the middle and comes with USA made smoke juice.
