Paid ezine advertising is confusing for many novice Internet marketers. The potential of using paid ezine advertising is huge and can reap many rewards. The biggest questions people ask are if they should promote a product directly to the ezines subscribers?

Selling directly can work, if your ad is professional, attention grabbing and totally compelling to the ezine subscribers to make them take action. Of course, you don't know what kind of subscribers the ezine has until after you have paid out for your advertising. If you are on a tight budget, as many starting out marketers are, then it can be a risky proposition. Large mailing lists can be quite expensive to advertise in and often they require multiple ad runs.

If you decide to take the plunge, then here are a few suggestions to make your first attempts into paid ezine advertising far more successful.

* Use the advertisers ezine to get some of their subscribers onto your own list. Do this by offering them a special free gift, making sure you have a really great offer. Spend some time creating a special landing page where you have great, mouth watering copy, that compels these visitors to sign up to get their free gift. When they sign up, they've opted into your mailing list. You know who they are and you have multiple opportunities to present your product to them.

* Choose where you want to be in the ezine or if would like to be a special mailing advertiser. Most ezines have several ad spots, one at the top and several throughout the ezine. A special mailing advert is a solo ad, sent especially on your behalf to the mailing list. While these are likely to be very successful, the cost of this advertising can be out of the range of the beginner in Internet marketing. The next best place to be is the top or the middle of the ezine, if you have the choice and if you can afford it. You must weigh up the cost of outlaying for the ad against the number of potential subscribers you will get. Your ability to replace the cost of the ad is limited at this time and will also take a while before you can recoup it directly.

If you have the finances to experiment, then try selling a low cost item directly related to the targeted niche audience of the ezine first and create a special, irresistible offer for the ezine subscribers. When you make some sales, invest the profit back into the ezine to collect subscribers for your own list.

How safe is inhaling e-cigarette vapor?

I know already that the safety of e-cigarettes is unknown (though undoubtedly less bad than normal cigs), so my main question is this: does inhaling vapor, even just water vapor mixed with scent/glycol/whatever, cause harm to your lungs in the long run? This is of concern to me as I am a runner (I know, what am I doing smoking in the first place if I'm a runner, but it's a long story), and I am trading normal cigs for e-cigs in the hopes that it will not hinder my ability to breathe.

The Harm in smoking comes from the 4000 chemicals in cigarette. The eCig like the Joye510 I use releases harmless nicotine vapor into the lung but feels like a drag on a cigarette. People will try to tell you inhaling anything besides oxygen is no good and that eCigs are no better than cigarettes, but i've quit smoking, and started "vaping" and notice heavy activity leaves me alot less winded than my pack a day habit did
